The Tapestry Series was created with inspiration from both Medieval hanging tapestries and Asian scroll paintings. I then incorporated the action painting technique, I often use, to take the inspiration and make it my own. The paintings are meditative and thought-provoking, serene and dreamlike. The paintings are on un-primed, raw canvas and meant to be hung loosely.
